This range of Pronar salt spreaders (gritters) has been selected by Agritrend as best of class for quality and value for a long-life tractor mounted gritter for winter road use spreading sand and grit.

The quality of these grit spreaders ensures many years of economic life. Sizes 300 litres and 500 litres. Plastic hopper and stainless-steel spreading fins for corrosion resistance. Choice of PTO or hydraulic drive. Directional salt spreading. Cat I & II combined linkage. Aggressive agitator to prevent bridging of road salt.

  • Spreading width adjustable from 1 to 6 meters controlled by pre-set step manual lever angling of the grit baffle
  • Spreading direction can be shifted to the left, right or to the back
  • Lever control of grit dose Hopper capacity 500 or 300 litres (800kg of grit or 480kg)
  • Weight of machine when empty 105 kg to 117 kg depending on size/dive type
  • Max speed when gritting 10 km/h Compact and robust L = 1145 W = 1125 H = 1290
  • Sieve mesh incorporated in hopper mouth for lumps and stones
  • Aggressive agitator extending over half-way into the hopper ensures grit is primed and fed smoothly to the spreader disc.
