The specific features incorporated in our design (listed below) offer a check list to identify a decent bucket which will last you much longer.
Our loader buckets are made from 355 steel.
Sides plates, floor & cover are all 5 mm thick steel.
The buckets are graced by Hardox scuff plates on the underside which double as reinforcement support straps. These are 100mm wide and 8mm thick. This abrasion resistant steel stands up to harsh conditions and gives a longer working life.
All of these buckets have a Hardox cutting edge from HB 500 of 110mm depth x and 16 mm thickness.
Where the 5mm thick sides of the bucket meet the cutting edge, they are supported by 8mm phalange to support the area of max tear out and impact forces.
The bucket has two indented curvilinear strength creases, into the side wall one on each side.
All loader buckets in this range are strengthened with a folded twin skin steel lattice at the top edge for double strength.
Inside the bucket, there is secondary skin “skirting” used to strengthen the floor and back cover area. This is also acts as an aid to prevent build-up of material especially when handling sticky or damp materials.
Generous back plate support for bracketing of 8mm x 200mm x 750mm
Two anchoring eyes have been designed and incorporated into upper rear top of the side plate wall. These are especially useful for securing a loading strap or rope when moving those awkward items.
